Clue (2025) – Newtown High School | Lead Costumer
As lead costumer for this bold and playful production, I transformed existing garments into the iconic characters from the classic board game (turned movie, turned stage show). I fitted, altered, constructed, and fully accessorized each look to capture the personality and intrigue of every suspect. I even created the head wound for Mr. Boddy (lovingly labeled “Boddy’s Hole”) which lived in prop storage just offstage in the wings.
Only days before opening, Colonel Mustard was suddenly recast, and I jumped straight into emergency fittings and rapid-fire alterations to tailor the costume perfectly for the new actor. It was a thrilling reminder of how alive, collaborative, and delightfully unpredictable theatre can be.
