Into the Woods – Newtown High School | Costumes & Backstage Crew
This beloved fairy tale became my own personal introduction to theatre costuming. Once the directors discovered my sewing skills, they put me to work, and I quickly became involved in creating and assembling key costumes. I hand-crafted the cow costume from scratch and built the onstage fast-change garment for the Witch’s transformation, ensuring smooth, magical transitions (see video below). Though I have worked on many shows since, this production holds a special place in my heart as the one that sparked my passion for costume design.
